Abstract

The Motel Condominium Task Force of the town of Wells is considering proposals to relax the rules which prohibit condo/motel units in that town from being used as permanent housing. Many investers who purchased condo/motel units during the boom 1980s are having trouble renting or selling them, prompting town officials to look into changing the ordinance which prohibits long-term stays. Details, list of condo/motel projects.
