Abstract

The most recent storm dumped 10.8 inches of snow on Portland, bringing the season total to 76.8 inches at the Portland International Jetport. The figure is more than a foot above the average of 61 inches through March 11 and the frequent storms will result in a longer school year due to unplanned snowdays. Details.
