Abstract
Windham town officials have secured a $1.2 million Farmers Home Administration grant to build housing for elderly residents, but local zoning ordinances forbid the housing density that is proposed for the project. The town council is expected to vote on a proposal by Town Manager Glenn Fratto to make an exception in the ordinance so the Marcus Woods housing project can proceed. Details.
