Abstract

Regional Waste Systems will shut down the turbine in the RWS incinerator on outer Congress Street for five weeks as part of a three-year, $4 million project to improve the operation of the facility. The upgrade on the turbine will increase operating capacity from the current 470 tons of trash burned daily to an estimated 520 tons a day. Details.
