Abstract

A coalition of sporting and environmental groups has filed a lawsuit in Kennebec County Superior Court which seeks to overturn the Maine Board of Environmental Protection's approval of a permit for a powerhouse along the Penobscot River in Veazie. The powerhouse is a component of Bangor Hydro-Electric Co.'s $140 million Basin Mills hydroelectric project. Details.
