Abstract

Council of Economic Advisors chairman Laura D'Andrea Tyson, speaking at the annual Governor's Economic Development Conference at the University of Maine at Orono in defense of the North American Free Trade Agreement, said that Maine has already benefitted from increased trade with Mexico. Exports of Maine products to Mexico rose from $3 million in 1987 to $23 million in 1992. Details.
