Abstract

The Maine Commission on Investment Capital issued its final report to the governor and the Legislature earlier this month. The three-year study found that Maine businesses have available an ample amount of money and a variety of capital assistance programs at their disposal, but discovered that new businesses find it hard to secure their first loans.
