Abstract

Town officials from Cape Elizabeth are negotiating a settlement with the state Attorney General's Office to purchase a 226-acre parcel of land willed to the poor of Cape Elizabeth by Revolutionary War soldier Thomas Jordan. The site currently houses the town's 76-acre dump and transfer station, with most of the remaining 150 acres composed of wetlands. Details.
