Abstract
The state's plan to continue privatizing liquor stores is in jeopardy because of conflicting state laws. Last year's law allowing the state to close state liquor stores and issue liquor licenses to businesses within ten miles of each closed store is in direct conflict with an older law prohibiting new liquor stores from opening within ten miles of other liquor stores.
