Abstract

Inspectors from the U.S. Health Care Finance Administration announced Friday that the Augusta Mental Health Institute had passed stringent federal requirements for certification, and is once again eligible to receive Medicaid funds. Certification was revoked in 1988, costing the state $600,000 to $700,000 a year.
