Abstract

Tests taken last summer show a decline in dioxin levels in most fish taken from Maine's rivers. Dioxin levels are, however, still above the state's maximum standard in the Androscoggin, Kennebec, Penobscot, Presumpscot, Salmon Falls and Sebasticook rivers and at Jones Creek in Scarborough.
