Abstract

Maine's cable television companies are waging and advertising war against Central Maine Power Co. (CMP) over the fees that cable operators must pay to use the electric company's poles. CMP has doubled those fees since 1991 to $11.20 a year for each pole used; the U.S. average is $4.50.
