Abstract

Changes in Maine's workers' compensation system approved by the Legislature last fall have encouraged Maryland Insurance Group, Peerless Insurance Co. and Royal Insurance Co. to return to the Maine insurance market or cancel plans to leave. Maryland Insurance operates in Maine as the Maine Bonding and Casualty Co.
