Abstract

The non-profit organization Port Resources Inc. opened a group home on Colony Street in South Portland for children who are both mentally and physically handicapped. It provides a residential setting for handicapped individuals such as Stephen Olesen, 15, whose parents live in South Portland. He was previously in a home in Bangor, the only one of its kind in Maine before the South Portland facility opened.
