Abstract

If the U.S. Senate approves an economic stimulus package similar to the one recently passed by the House, Portland would receive supplemental funding to the tune of $1.5 million for the city's Housing and Community Development program. The program funds social services, road rehabilitation, and a variety of other initiatives aimed at improving conditions in the city.
