Abstract

The University of Maine's Maine Community Childhood Hunger Identification Project, part of an ongoing effort to determine the scope of childhood hunger nationwide, has shown that 7,500 low-income children in Maine had too little to eat at times in the past year, and another 31,000 were at risk of food shortages. Details on findings, questions, and how the survey was conducted.
