Abstract

Around 2,000 people turned out Saturday to watch the launching of the Aegis guided missile destroyer Paul Hamilton during a ceremony at Bath Iron Works. The destroyer, named for the secretary of the navy under James Madison, is the sixth Aegis-class vessel constructed by BIW.
