Abstract

The town of Lovell has reached an agreement with the National Trust for Historic Preservation over the estate of Eunice Eastman Carroll, who bequeathed her Lovell estate and $800,000 to the Trust in 1979. Plans by the Trust to subdivide the 550 acres have been scrapped, and the Eastman estate will remain the way it is. Details.
