Abstract

Although Maine State Museum employees and volunteer workers have found only 5 percent of the bones of a wooley mammoth in an a Scarborough excavation, they consider their search a success and believe their find to be significant. Gary Hoyle, a Maine State Museum curator, is asking for public assistance in locating originally found at the site in 1959.
