Abstract

The University of Southern Maine and the national Tau Kappa Epsilon organization have withdrawn recognition of the fraternity's Gorham chapter. Four members were arrested at a party last month. Neither university nor fraternity officials believe the local chapter reacted to the incident with sufficient concern.
