Abstract

Central Maine Power Co. (CMP) is asking the Public Utilities Commission to reconsider a rejected rate increase that would offset losses due to next year's withdrawal of Madison Electric Works and Madison Paper Industries as CMP customers. The company was seeking an additional $5 million in rate increases to make up for the cancellation of the Madison contracts. Details.
