Abstract

Bath area businesses have received national attention for their success in surviving the arrival of Wal-Mart in nearby Brunswick. Much of that success is due to the Bath Business Association, which was formed more than a year ago. The association has encouraged Bath businesses to institute changes designed to draw consumers to the town's shopping district. Details.
