Abstract
Maine Public Broadcasting broadcast an hour-long documentary on forestry issues, the first segment of a ten-part series called Quest. The program features scientists and industry foresters, and suggests there is a scientific consensus that clear-cutting is beneficial to the environment. Jonathan Carter of the Maine Green party, the only environmental activist featured in the documentary, has contacted MPB about his concerns about the program, and wants airtime to address those concerns.
