Abstract

"News" piece on Roxanne Quimby's ambition to start a new career working as an environmentalist instead of a capitalist. Quimby, 51, of Winter Harbor, is the owner of Burt's Bees, Inc., which produces "earth friendly" personal care products and had sales of $30 million in 2000. With details of Maine land parcels Quimby has bought to protect them from development.
