Abstract

A report titled "Targeting Export Markets for Maine," which examines 10 Northeast states and the exports they have in common, shows that Germany, Great Britain and France are the overseas markets best suited for Maine products. The report found that the state had a broader base of exports than most New England states, and that Maine exports to Asia are increasing while exports across the Atlantic are declining.
