Abstract

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. on Tuesday said that Coastal Savings Bank must give the agency a 95 percent ownership interest in the bank to cover the cost of bailing out the Suffield Bank of Suffield, Conn., which was owned by the same parent company as Coastal. The proposal means the FDIC has apparently rejected at least four bids for Coastal. Details.
