Abstract

U.S. District Judge Morton Brody ruled this week that a vidoetaped reenactment of the Katherine Hegarty shooting cannot be used in a lawsuit brought by Jack Hegarty, the victim's husband. Hegarty in January 1993 filed suit against the law enforcement officers involved in the shooting and their superiors, claiming that his and his wife's constitutional rights were violated.
