Abstract

Cape Elizabeth school officials are studying whether the middle school honor roll is motivating students or simply adding to their stress -- Some teachers have told school officials that the honor roll puts pressure on the students to perform, but an informal poll of students revealed most support keeping the roll -- Around half of all middle school students make the honor roll, while between 5 percent and 10 percent make the high honor roll each grading period
