John Roberts Co of Biddeford yesterday sent its 170 employees home without their weekly paychecks -- The clothing maker was trying to secure an additional $250,000 investment from an investor group but unsecured creditors objected to the terms of the deal -- If a deal cannot be reached during negotiations on Monday, the Bankruptcy Court will determine the company's fate on Wednesday Details
