The Portland City Council's public safety committee yesterday postponed until May action on a proposal to require bars and nightclubs to halt all dancing and music by 1:15 AM -- The proposed curfew is aimed at the crowds that spill onto the streets of the Old Port when the bars shut down, but councilors were concerned that it appeared to target The Cage, an alcohol-free, after-hours dance club on Wharf Street -- Details
