Abstract

Six-week-old Samuel Corrigan Moore of Gorham, born with cardiomyopathy, a disorder that weakens the heart muscle, has made a stunning recovery while at Boston Children's Hospital and may no longer need a heart transplant -- The baby has been taken off the active list of those waiting for organs and also has been taken off the heart-lung machine -- He could be transferred to Maine Medical Center or sent directly home after doctors in Boston monitor his progress for another four to six weeks -- His doctors are stunned by his progress
