Maine's game wardens have found dozens of dead deer this month, and say that the culprits are dogs whose owners have allowed them to run loose -- The deer have been severely weakened by the lack of food caused by the extreme cold and deep snow, and are in most cases unable to outrun the dogs -- Dog owners whose pets have killed deer are liable for fines ranging from $500 to $1,000 Details
