Abstract

J. Michael Orenduff, the chancellor of the University of Maine System, yesterday announced that he will personally investigate the controversy surround the atheletic eligibility violations at the University of Maine at Orono. The chancellor's decision comes in the wake of new charges that University of Maine Athletics Director Michael Ploszek planned to conceal the violations from National Collegiate Athletic Association.
