Abstract
Moses Sebunya, a native of Uganda and the vice president of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People in Maine, yesterday said that the state commission studying ethnic and cultural diversity in Maine is a waste of time and should be abandoned. Sebunya said the panel is Gov. McKernan's way of avoiding responsibility for hate and bias crimes in Maine.
