Abstract
Maine State Police yesterday narrowly missed arresting Lance Jones, 25, of Yarmouth, who is a suspect in numerous burlglaries in the Greater Portland area. Jones was convicted in 1990 of charges resulting from a five-month burglary spree, and a task force consisting of state, county and local law enforcement officers has been focusing on him since the beginning of this year.
