Abstract

Former Speaker of the Maine House of Representatives John L. Martin, who stunned his fellow legislators when he announced last week that he would seek a 16th term in the House, said he is seeking re-election because of public demand from his constituents. Two Republicans will face off in a primary to challenge Martin for the District 151 seat.
