Abstract

Patrick McDonough, the 2-year-old Wells boy being treated for leukemia in a Boston hospital, has had his condition downgraded from serious to critical. McDonough suffers from acute myelofibrosis, and was diagnosed with graft-vs.-host disease after undergoing a bone-marrow transplant.
