Abstract

Two of the eight rare sea turtles flown to Florida last month from Brunswick Naval Air Station died shortly after their arrival, apparently from a number of infections they had been battling since being found stranded on Cape Cod. The two turtles that died were five-pound Kemp's Ridleys, while the six turtles still surviving are 50-pound loggerheads. Details.
