Abstract

The Portland Yacht Club was formed in the office of Portland lawyer William Thomas on April 26, 1869, and yesterday members celebrated the 125th anniversary of the founding. The club is the third-oldest continuously operating club in the country, and is currently at its limit of 300 members. Details.
