Abstract
The federal Nuclear Regulatory Commission recently released its Systematic Assessment of Licensee Performance report, and Maine Yankee in Wiscasset received two "superior" ratings and two "good" ratings. The rankings cover the period from mid-1992 to early 1994, and show that Maine Yankee scored well compared to other nuclear plants in the region. The facility was told to carefully monitor a small leak between the nuclear and steam-generating water.
