Abstract

The National Endowment for the Humanities has awarded a $250,000 grant to the University of Southern Maine and The Maine Collaborative to study regionalism in Maine and Mississippi. Fifteen teachers from each state will get together during the summers of 1995 and 1996 to explore the similarities and differences between the two states, and in the spring of 1997 as many as three pairs of teachers will trade places for one month.
