Abstract
Portland police have increased night patrols in Sagamore Village following Sunday night's beating of two residents, and the Portland Housing Authority has pledged to evict residents charged in the case. The 200-unit complex off of Brighton Avenue is now being patrolled by two housing officers, who are backed up by regular police patrols. One arrest has been made in Sunday's incident, and police are seeking four other suspects. Details.
