Abstract

Maine Education Services, a non-profit agency based in Portland, yesterday announced the creation of the Maine Education Super Loan program, which will offer educational loans at an interest rate one percentage point below the government rate. The discounted rate will apply to the federally guaranteed Stafford Loan for students and the Parents Loan for Undergraduate Students. Maine Eduation Services is launching the program along with 40 participating lenders. Details.
