Abstract

The Portland East Little League Challenger Division allows special-needs children in the area the chance to participate in Little League baseball. There are currently two teams in the division, but organizers hope to see the league expand over the next year. More than 29,000 children in 860 leagues nationwide play in the five-year-old Challenger program. Details.
