Abstract

Moss Inc. of Camden last week announced plans to sell the company's backpack tent division, which has lost money the last 18 years but sold 8,000 to 10,000 tents annually during the better years. The company will keep its profitable exhibit division, which uses the same tension fabric technology that goes into the tents to make exhibits for corporations. Moss currently has 51 employees, and 15 to 18 of them are expected to lose their jobs because of the announcement. Details.
