Abstract

Carmellas Barton, the manager of Freeport's Winslow Park, this week submitted her resignation, stating that the park commission's political climate is affecting her day-to-day operation of the park. Town Manager Dale Olmstead on Monday plans to hold an executive session with the Winslow Park Commission to see if the difficulties can be resolved. Barton is not sanguine about the prospect.
