Abstract
The Cape Elizabeth Planning Board last night voted 3-2 in favor of approving a proposal by William Jelin to build a retractable ramp that would go from underneath his home to a private dock moored in Maiden Cove. The Cape Cottage Beach Association launched a petition drive against the project, collecting around 170 signatures of people opposed to the ramp. George Waterman, a Freeport-based marine engineer, is designing the ramp for Jelin, owner of NRG Barriers Inc. of Portland. Details.
