Abstract

Brief article describes the nearly-completed deal between Fort Fairfield and Central Maine Power Company (CMP) designed to keep the Fairfield Energy Venture plant open if CMP buys it. The deal would keep the wood-fired generating plant open for at least three years if CMP is able to reduce the facility's operating costs within six months. Details.
