Abstract

The Maine State Planning Office yesterday said that manufacturing employment in the state has increased from 90,400 jobs in January 1993 to 92,700 jobs in May 1994, and now account for 17.6 percent of all jobs in the state. Total employment in Maine is 526,900, or 18,200 jobs less than the 1989 peak. Details.
