Abstract

Maine Supreme Judicial Court justice Howard Dana on Tuesday will consider the case of Andrews B. Campbell, 52, of Mexico, a lawyer convicted on federal drug charges in 1987 who is seeking to practice law in Maine. The hearing will occur one week after convicted drug smuggler Harvey Prager begins a one-year clerkship for Dana. Dana supports Prager's appointment to the clerkship, but said that support will have no bearing on how he rules in the Campbell matter. Details.
